A big data smart agricultural system: recommending optimum fertilisers for crops

Abstract Nutrients are important to promote plant growth and nutrient deficiency is the primary factor limiting crop production. However, excess fertilisers can also have a negative impact on quality yield, cause an increase in pollution decrease producer profit. Hence, determining suitable quantities of fertiliser for every very useful. Currently, agricultural systems with internet things make large data volumes. Exploiting Big Data will help extract valuable information. designing implementing scale warehouse challenging. The key module build smart system proficient agronomy recommendations. In our paper, electronic record (EAR) proposed integrate many separate datasets into unified dataset. Then, store manage Data, we built based Hive Elasticsearch. Finally, applied some statistical methods information such as case study. These propose recommended components across wide range environmental management conditions, nitrogen ( N ), phosphorus P ) potassium K top ten most popular crops EU.
